'70 Dodge Challenger T/A

In 1970, Dodge entered the world of TransAm Racing. As required by SCCA regulations, Dodge needed to build and sell at least 2,400 street versions of the Challenger T/A. Dodge sold 2,539 copies in 1970 equipped with the hi-po 340 topped off with a six-pack of Holleys, lightweight fiberglass hood and a distinctive stripe that ran from fenders to the rear quarters. Once again, proof that what's good for the strip is good for the street.
