As if the regular Challenger was not muscular enough, the R/T (Road & Track) was a high-performance version. A powerful 383 cid. four-barrel V-8 was standard, and the "Bumblebee" stripes, performance hood, and special R/T ornamentation added greatly to its muscular attitude. Attitude was one thing, but didn't mean anything on the streets; what did was the R/T's 13.62-second quarter-mile time! If this Plum Crazy model doesn't get your pulse racing, you didn't have a pulse to begin with!
