Buick introduced its GS340 at midyear at the Chicago Automobile Show. It earned the "340" moniker because of its 260 hp. 340 cid. V-8 engine. Standard fare on this special Skylark included red rally stripes and hood scoop, along with red molding on the lower deck. The red was a well-suited pop of color on either of the car's two available colors - white or platinum mist. This model looks clean and mean in White.
