Full-size Ford received a major facelift for 1955, introducing a rakish new appearance. One of Ford’s most impressive jewels was found in the Crown Victoria. The Crown Victoria received its majestic title due to its chrome “basket handle” that stretched across the roof, creating a chrome “tiara.” The car was regally appointed with a generous amount of chrome, including side sweep moldings that separated its two-tone exterior. This model bows with a White over Gloss Black exterior.
