The ‘Cuda showed off a totally new redesign for 1970, and was available in three different styles and with nine different engines. The “AAR” version came from Dan Gurney’s All-American Racers and became available in the spring. It came with extra performance features that allowed it to be competitive on the Trans Am racing circuit. Its 290 cid. 340 hp. V-8 included a triple two-barrel carb setup, with additional eye candy including a matte-black hood, body-side striping and a black spoiler.
