The Coronet R/T maintained its position at the top of the Dodge line for ‘69, and came with all Coronet 500 features plus the locked and loaded Magnum 440 cid. V-8 power plant. There was no doubting the car’s status, as “R/T” was included in the Bumblebee stripe, and the rear fenders also wore simulated scoops. A number of buyers also threw their cares to the winds, opting for the convertible version.
