Oldsmobile introduced its “88” in 1949, and the model is often credited with being the first muscle car because it had a relatively small and light body and “blasted off” in 1950 with the powerful Rocket V-8 engine. The OHV V-8 engine had a number of interesting features, but the feature that drew the most attention was its utter domination of the early NASCAR circuit. Sure to cause a large amount of envy, this mean machine shows off an Alder Green Metallic body topped with an Ivy Green Metallic roof.
