This was the 'Bird that almost never left the nest. With sales plummeting due to the demise of the muscle car market, and a 174-day strike at the only plant producing Firebirds, GM officials toyed with the idea of dropping the Firebird altogether. It eventually flew with very few changes fro the previous year, but the famous honeycomb wheels made their debut. We've caged this 'Bird just long enough to cover it in Yellow Green and fit it with Uniroyal Tire Paws on Magnum 500 rims.
