Dodge charged into the fastback craze when it introduced its Charger in 1966. Its fastback design benefited from sweeping C-pillars, and the car also boasted full-length taillights, while its headlights were hidden. The sport interior included four bucket seats, with the rear seats even folding down to increase cargo area. The Charger represented with a standard 318 V-8, but the performance-hungry could also opt for a 383, or the brand new and soon-to-be engine of legend - the 426 Hemi. More than 37,000 Chargers left the floor in ‘66.
