The Daytona was a one-year wonder - only built in 1969. The Daytona prototype started with a Charger body, but a front nosepiece added 19", and the rear sported a 25" wing! The cars were built specifically for NASCAR racing, but a certain number also had to be available to the public. Powered by either the 440 or 426 Hemi, the Daytona was capable of 13.90 ź-mile times. Just 503 were built. This revered muscle machine wears a shiny Yellow finish with white rear spoiler, and also sports thin red stripe tires.
