Ford added a new 2+2 fastback body style to the Mustang stable in the car’s second year. The same engines were available, save for the 170 cid. engine being replaced with a 200 cid. as the base six-cylinder. More than 77,000 of the new body style were sold, giving Ford one more weapon in its developing arsenal of pony cars. This pony comes saddled with a Blue exterior with a white vinyl top, and Goodyear tires on chrome rims.
