The Buick Skylark, became a contender on the streets and drag strips in 1970 with the Gran Sport option. The choice of either a 350 or 400 engine option made the GS a real torque Monster that could rocket the Gran Sport through the 1/4 mile as fast as any other factory-built muscle car. Truly this Buick was no "old man's car" - but one of the hottest set-ups in musclecar history.
