As if the ‘68 GTO needed help being menacing, Mike Rutherford decided to shred the envelope by calling on friend Arnie Beswick, who in turn called Royal Pontiac. A GTO commanded by a 428 engine was on its way. The Bossman was also well on its way - rising through the ranks to become king of the strips. Still wanting things his way - like any proper “Boss” - Rutherford also had round exhaust port heads and a set of fabricated headers installed to enhance performance. This “Boss” got high marks on all of its performance reviews!
