Snake Oiler showed up in episodes 9-11 "The Most Dangerous Race, Parts 1-3." A daredevil driver and member of the Car Acrobatic Team, Snake accepts Speed Racer's challenge to participate in the "Big Alpine Race." Late in the race as Snake seems headed for sure victory, Speed catches up to his opponent and warns Snake that his car is leaking oil. Snake ignores Speed, and his car explodes. When Speed wins the race, Snake vows vengeance. This model represents Oiler's car pre-explosion in Black and Purple.
