Based on the U.S. military’s High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), or Humvee, the Hummer H1 is General Motors’ civilian-use large off-roader. While void of any of the Humvee’s armaments, the H1 uses the same power train, chassis, body and suspension. The interior is also “civilian,” with stereo radio, air conditioning and comfortable seats all standard. You’ll be “humming” a different tune with this impressive model, finished with a Metallic Red exterior and red tires.
