The ‘65 VW Delivery Van is considered a “Type 2” and was unique for a number of reasons, including it being rear-engined. The van also became a symbol of the hippie counter-culture movement in the ‘60s, often being hand-painted and carrying any number of passengers with various types of cargo. It was also the forerunner of today’s cargo and passenger vans. With its Glass Black/Matte Black flamed exterior, “this van will blow your mind, man!”
